A very magic & spiritual moment today, once in a blue moon a gathering of hundreds of thousands of fish come to the center of Waimea bay (NS Hawaii)
we were able to somewhat capture it but the photos do it no justice being submerged by so many fish deep down at the bottom of the bay was nothing less then magic….
so blessed to experience that..

My sister in the south of Chile. We are sitting at home next to the fireplace in our southern lake house when it suddenly began to pour uncontrollably. Had to rush into the lake to take this snapshot! - Camila Massu/National Geographic Traveler Photo Contest

George Balanchine, Tchaikovsky Pas De Deux
Suzanne Farrell and Peter Martins, 1976
ph. King Douglas

"This shot is not posed—that is, they are in the middle of a rehearsal on stage. The stage was lit only with work lights, and I knew they wouldn’t provide adequate or attractive light for this photo opportunity, so I brought in one of my large, soft-box electronic strobes which I placed downstage right, out of the way of the dancers.
I like that both their faces are silhouetted in profile. Notice the callous on Suzanne’s left elbow…it’s not a bruise. I wonder what caused that.” [source]
